This statement governs Pragmedic Ltd’s (Pragmedic’s) privacy policy with respect to clients, contacts and users of the website.


Personally identifiable information

Refers to any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or locate the person to whom such information pertains, including, but not limited to, name, address, phone number, fax number, email address, financial profiles, social personal details, and credit card information. Personally Identifiable Information does not include information that is collected anonymously (that is, without identification of the individual user) or demographic information not connected to an identified individual.


What personally identifiable information does Pragmedic collect?

We collect basic user profile information from clients and connections on LinkedIn. We collect public information from potential clients and connections on LinkedIn. We also collect the following additional information from clients: the names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses of individual contacts (as provided by them or their colleagues) and information about businesses (provided by the employees of those businesses or which is publicly available).


What other organisations collect information on our behalf?

Where we invoice clients with the option to use online payment facilities, we use an online payment provider, Stripe. Financial information is collected to enable payment of our invoice but is not shared with Pragmedic.  Pragmedic does not use any other third parties to collect information.


How does Pragmedic use personally identifiable information?

We collect and retain information about individual clients and the businesses they work for to provide agreed services, to determine which services we will develop and who may be interested in them, and to share information about research and publication.

We also use Personally Identifiable Information to contact clients or potential clients in response to specific enquiries, or to provide requested information.


With whom may the information be shared?

Personally Identifiable Information is shared only amongst Pragmedic employees. We may effect an introduction between contacts in our database, but this would be done transparently and with the agreement of both/all parties.


How is personally identifiable information stored?

Personally Identifiable Information collected by Pragmedic employees and is stored within secure, cloud based proprietary software.


What choices are available regarding collection and use of the information?

Anyone in our database may opt out of receiving information from or being contacted by us by replying to our email, phoning us, or contacting our Managing Director, Brian Smith at Requests are handled personally by a Pragmedic employee.


Are cookies used on our website?

Cookies are used for a variety of reasons. We use cookies to obtain anonymised information about the preferences of visitors to our website and to enable faster loading speeds for visitors who return to the site.


How does Pragmedic keep personally identifiable information secure?

All of our employees are familiar with our security policy and practices. The Personally Identifiable Information we hold is only accessible to employees who are given a password in order to gain access to the information. We audit our security systems and processes on a regular basis. We do not hold sensitive information, such as credit card numbers. While we take commercially reasonable measures to maintain a secure site, electronic communications and databases are subject to errors, tampering and break-ins, and we cannot guarantee or warrant that such events will not take place and we will not be liable for any such occurrences.


How to correct any inaccuracies in personally identifiable information

How to have personally identifiable information deleted

Pragmedic will delete information about any individual on request, except that which is available in the public domain (e.g. on LinkedIn) or which Pragmedic is required to keep for legal or tax purposes.  An individual who requests to have Personally Identifiable Information deactivated will have this information functionally deleted, and we will not use Personally Identifiable Information relating to that individual in any way moving forward.
